As the proud owner of a Genuine Iraca Palm Hat, it's important to remember that your hat is a unique piece of craftsmanship, woven by hand from natural fibres. Here are some care tips to ensure it remains in pristine condition: 

•       Avoid Folding: Do not fold or scrunch your hat, as it may damage the shape and cause the straw to crack.
•       Handle with Care: Avoid pinching or crushing the crown, and do not pull the hat by the brim.
•        Protection from Rain: Keep your hat away from rain to maintain its shape.
•       Cleaning: Use a damp cloth or a gentle facial wipe/baby wipe to clean. Start with a dry cloth to remove dirt, then use warm water with a clean cloth to remove any remaining marks. Avoid rubbing too hard to prevent damage to the straw.
•         No Cleaning Agents: Do not use any cleaning agents or soap.
•         Reshaping: If your hat loses its shape, gently steam it and reshape it by hand. You can use a hairdryer to dry it. Using a clean, damp cloth, the brim can be reshaped with a steam iron on the lowest setting. Ensure the iron does not touch the straw directly.
